He pointed out that under the guidance of the National Water Project Office and combined with the technical requirements of the Yangtze River ecological environment protection, more than 1,300 water special technical achievements have been screened to form a series The results are compiled and recommended to more than 1,500 enterprises along the river. At present, more than 30 of the 58 stationed cities have the basis for special water research. Among them, 5 stationed working groups in Wuxi, Jiaxing, Suzhou, Changzhou, Hefei, etc. are directly transformed by the water special team, and through the water special research content and Combining the tasks of resident sites, promote the application of special water projects in the cities of resident sites, and effectively solve local ecological and environmental problems.

Ten stations in Changzhou, Wuxi, Suzhou, Hefei, Jiaxing, Xianning, Neijiang, Kunming, Dali, and Chongqing introduced the results of special research on water, sending science and technology, solving problems, and helping local governments fight for the protection and restoration of the Yangtze River. The Wuxi Station Group conducted research on the construction of the buffer zone of the Yangtze River Economic Zone and the effective use of financial means to promote the protection of the Yangtze River Economic Zone, and provided support for the "14th Five-Year" water ecological environment plan in Wuxi City and the promotion of the integration of ecological environment protection in the Yangtze River Delta ; The Changzhou station team combined with the implementation of the “Thirteenth Five-Year” water project in Wujin District to support the scientific decision-making and precise implementation of the Changzhou Yangtze River protection and restoration battle; the Suzhou station team promoted the technical methods of water ecological safety assessment of water sources and formed the " A number of achievements including the "Guidelines for the Assessment of Water Ecological Safety of Shallow Lakes Sources"; Jiaxing Station Group Technology supports the implementation of the "Ten Tackling Actions" plan for the establishment of a demonstration city for the construction of ecological civilization in Jiaxing City, and has established a comprehensive regulation of water environment quality in Jiaxing City Platform and intelligent monitoring operation and management platform for decentralized domestic sewage treatment facilities; Hefei City Station Working Group carried out Hefei City's pollution source analysis, proposed "Chaohu Lake Basin Water Pollution Prevention and Control Progress and "14th Five-Year Plan" Proposals" to assist in the development of Chaohu algae Research on the comprehensive index and grade evaluation method of water bloom.

The evaluation team believes that it is very effective to establish a working mechanism for scientific research teams to conduct stationed research in cities along the Yangtze River. The water special scientific research personnel sinking to the grassroots level and going deep into the front line will help accelerate the popularization and application of results. The evaluation team appreciated the effectiveness of technical assistance provided by the Yangtze River Center during the epidemic prevention and control period, and fully affirmed the important role played by the special water station work in the protection of the Yangtze River, local talent training, and technological innovation.

The meeting emphasized that this year is the final year of the water project and the final year of the national clear water defense war. The promotion and application of special water projects to support the protection and restoration of the Yangtze River is one of the original intentions of the Yangtze River Center.
